Here at Hakuba Powder Guides, we are your best bet at scoring fresh track’s in Honshu’s most epic powder. Hakuba Valley consists of 10 mountains. Based on our deep knowledge of the area along with our training and forecasting, WE KNOW WHERE TO GO.

DONT’S

We only guide inbounds and on piste. We don’t do side country or back country. We don’t duck ropes. We abide by all the rules set in place by Hakuba Valley and each individual mountain, to ensure all safety protocols are followed.

Our Playground

Hakuba is nestled in the northern Japanese Alps. It is close enough to the Sea of Japan to get the most intense maritime snow. But it is far away to have the fluffy good stuff. Each mountain has its own unique characteristics that make this place so special.

Typical Day

Our guides are meeting to discuss the best options in our morning meeting briefing while you’re still in bed. We pick up our guests in our vans, ready to go so we can be at the resort when the lifts start spinning. We customize each day depending on your group and what you have in mind. We also factor in our local knowledge and what the weather is doing. We drop you back home after lunch for our half days and after 4PM for our full days.

Our Promise

Our promise to our guests is very simple. We strive to make the best day out on the mountains with our guests. We will do everything in our power so that you leave stoked. Regardless of what mother nature throws our way.

Pricing

Full day 7am - 4pm: ¥50,000

Half day 7am - 12pm: ¥25,000

Snow Shoe Tours

Half Day 7am - 12pm: ¥25,000

Full Day 7am - 4pm: ¥50,000

Night Tour 6pm - 9pm: ¥25,000
